Born in Argentina, on September 10th 1994, Matias Bacoñsky has emerged as a dynamic pianist and composer, blending evocative piano melodies with grandiose orchestral arrangements. His distinctive sound is shaped by the hauntingly beautiful piano work of Amy Lee from Evanescence and powerful orchestrations of Epica. This fusion has become the hallmark of Bacoñsky’s unique musical style.

Matias's musical journey began with three solo piano albums, each showcasing his talent for crafting emotionally rich and melodically compelling compositions. However, it was his groundbreaking 2021 release, Epochal, that marked a significant turning point in his career. This album based on piano with huge orchestrations and choir, not only captured the essence of his artistic vision but also earned him numerous award nominations.

Building on the momentum of Epochal, Bacoñsky is set to unveil his highly anticipated follow-up, New World, in January 2025. This new project represents an exciting evolution in his work, featuring collaborations with four exceptionally talented metal vocalists: Marcela Bovio of Stream of Passion, Ambre Vourvahis of Xandria, Zuberoa Aznarez of Diabulus in Musica, Ulli Perhonen (ex - Snow White Blood) and Manuela Kraller (ex - Xandria). Their powerful voices will complement Bacoñsky’s piano, promising an immersive and transformative listening experience.
